Description:
Stemless plant, forming large clusters; up to 20 erected, 40-60 cm long grey-green, brownish tinged, lanceolate-attenuate leaves; pale toothed margins; up to 90 cm high, yellow inflorescence with up to 2 branches. Red flowered forms are found for example around Petra in Jordan. - Used for various medicinal and cosmetic conditions without clear scientific evidence of the effectiveness.
