Description: Stemless, solitary or weakly clustering plant;stiffly erected, lanceolate-attenuate, dark greyish-green, in dry condition reddish tinged leaves, forming a compact rosette; pungent, brown-tipped toothed margins; 175 cm high erected, multi-branched (4-8 curving branches), bright scarlet, occasionally yellow tipped, very densely flowered inflorescence.
