Description:
Plant with stem up to 4 m high, dull green to glaucous leaves with toothed margins and a few reddish prickles, densely flowered 60-80 cm tall, yellow to yellow-orange inflorescence with 2-4 branches. This species resembles A.ferox, but it has thinner, narrower and more spreading leaves.
